Some pupils in third year at Huerto School, working in “Educación Cívica”, decided to design a project in which they would help pupils who are in 2nd and 3rd year C.B. at Technical School in the afternoon shift. This idea came up from the discussion about cultural rights carried out in class with the teacher of this subject, Ariel Vera. The discussion was about their participation in the political, social and working life. First, the idea was that some advanced pupils in English would help the pupils from the other school who have some problems with the language, but then they decided to do the same with other subjects such as Maths and Geography. This classes are after the school timetable. The experience has been very valuable and both groups are sharing rich experiences which will help both of them.
